Gecko’s has been a Nob Hill fixture for years and is recognized as one of the city’s first gastropubs, emphasizing quality food in a laidback atmosphere. The outdoor patio is dog friendly with waiters known to bring bacon treats out to well behaved pups.

Differential Brewing opened their doors in April 2019 in the old scooter shop off Vassar near Coal Ave. The vibe inside is approachable and easygoing with an authentic cigarette machine from the 70’s, Wu-Tang Clan playing on the speakers, a pool table surrounded with art and a friendly cast of employees plus extensive back patio area. Their brews are on the lighter end of the beer spectrum.

Sixty-Six Acres is a newly opened, modern bar & grill in the Avanyu Plaza, across the street from the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. The extensive menu is all about going local; it features locally sourced ingredients, local craft beers on tap and craft cocktails using locally distilled spirits.

Marble is a staple in the Albuquerque beer community with it’s industrial-style decor and an award-winning beer with live music almost every day of the week.

Sidetrack has a friendly neighborhood pub atmosphere and shares a back patio with Zendo Coffee, meaning you can transition seamlessly from an iced coffee to an IPA. Dogs allowed indoor and out.


Golden Crown Panaderia

Golden Crown has grown past it’s roots as an old-fashioned neighborhood bakery, offering sandwiches on their homemade breads, pizza, salads, cheese and garlic bread, fruit smoothies and milkshakes, tea from the NM Tea Co, gourmet coffees, wine and beer on tap from several local breweries.


Green Jeans Farmery

El Vado Motel

When it opened in 1937, El Vado was one of New Mexico’s first motels to greet Route 66 travelers. Recently the motel reopened with a major bohemian facelift including a new taproom serving Ponderosa Brewing beers and an outdoor food court with a collection of small restaurants serving coffee, pizza, Puerto Rican food and more.


Tractor Brewing – Nob Hill

While beer is Tractor’s main gig, their ciders really take the spotlight. Nice atmosphere with dogs allows both indoors and on the patio.


Backstreet Grill
